Huntington Beach officials have approved the installation of a “MAGA” plaque at the Central Library to commemorate its 50th anniversary. The plaque, originally intended to feature the acronym “MAGA” for “Magical, Alluring, Grand, and Awe-inspiring,” faced public backlash due to its association with former President Trump’s slogan. In response, the city council revised the design and plans to implement additional security measures to address community concerns. (KTLA)
